March 13, 2016

LIMA, Ohio - On the first day of Daylight Saving Time, Kyle Anderson saved the Pontiac 66ers with a miracle three-pointer to give his team a 119-118 win over the Lima Express at Lima Central Catholic High School on Sunday.

Anderson hit a 30-footer with two defenders in his face with 2.3 seconds left in the game after Pontiac had trailed the entire contest.

Lima led after the first quarter 36-21, at halftime 64-47, and heading into the fourth quarter 90-74.

Westley Hinton missed a pair of free throws for Lima moments before Anderson's prayer, with the Express up 118-116. The hard-luck Express have lost six of their last seven games by an average of 4.3 points, with the last two losses coming by just one point.

Pontiac is now alone in first place in the Midwest Professional Basketball Association with a 10-4 record, while Lima slipped to 4-8.
