Rebranding completes transition for Chicago team

The Chicago Blues have unveiled their official new logo.

The team, formerly known as the Chicago Force, is drawing on the city's history as the "Home of the Blues" to build a new brand.

"This logo really pops," said Craig Fata, vice president and director of communications for the Midwest Professional Basketball Association.  "The color scheme is terrific, and the background in the oval almost looks like that digital sound meter you see on an audio board when music plays.  This logo will look great on a white or dark jersey--or it could look good on a blues club marquee."

The logo was designed by Joyce Thomas, who also designed the recently released Pontiac 66ers logo.
