ST. LOUIS – Often the best players shine in the most important games.

And with first place on the line, Justin Bocot did just that, earning the Bloomington Flex guard Midwest Professional Basketball Association Player of Week honors for week ending Feb. 15, 2015, for his 35-point performance in a defeat of the Champaign Swarm onThursday, Feb.12.

Bocot reached a new season high and notched his fifth 30-plus point game in eight contests this season, maintaining his title as the league's top scorer.  This is the second time this season that Bocot has collected the Player of the Week award.

Several other players had notable games for the week. Swarm newcomer Avery Smith scored 30 and 22 points in consecutive games. Chicago’s Derrick McDonald posted another a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds in Sunday's game against Windy City, and teammate Antoine Ware had a new season-best with 27 points.
