Pontiac's Houston named final Player of the Week

Guard scores 24 in fourth quarter during comeback win

ST. LOUIS – Thanks in part to a 24-point fourth quarter that helped his team to a huge comeback win, Alfonzo Houston has been named the final regular-season Player of the Week in the Midwest Professional Basketball Association for 2016.

Houston scored 22 and 41 points on back-to-back nights for the 66ers on March 19 and 20, both wins for his team. In the second game, he scored 24 fourth-quarter points to lead his team to a 15-point come-from-behind victory.

Houston is a 6’4” guard from University of North Carolina-Central.
