After recording 61 points in two games this week, Connell Crossland of the Gateway Steam has been named Player of the Week in the Midwest Professional Basketball Association.

Crossland registered 34 points and nine rebounds in Saturday 105-100 win over the Champaign Swarm, three days after recording 27 points and nine rebounds in a 107-102 loss to the Pontiac 66ers.

The MPBA enters the final two weeks of the season with the four playoff seeds still up in the air before the league semifinals and championship on April 1 and 2 in Pontiac. All MPBA games can be viewed free of charge at MPBA.tv.
