Pontiac tops Groove in overtime

Windy City loses for just second time this season

CHICAGO - The Pontiac 66ers needed extra time to hand the Windy City Groove just their second loss of the season, winning 115-114 in overtime Wednesday at Kroc Center.

Windy City, now 8-2, remains in first place in the Midwest Professional Basketball Association, while Pontiac, in second at 7-4, picked up a game on the leaders.

Alfonzo Houston led the 66ers with 36 points, while Trent Thomas added 21.  Khion Sankey, Marcus Hammonds and Alex Marzette also scored in double figures for Pontiac.  

Dion Cooksey paced Windy City with 28.  C.J. Hampton tallied 22, and Ray Miller scored 20 and grabbed ten rebounds.
