LIMA, Ohio - For the second time in as many days, the Windy City Groove had to make a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat the Lima Express in a close game down the stretch--the score Sunday afternoon ended with the Groove on top 101-100.
Windy City trailed by as many as 16 in the second quarter, and Lima took a 61-47 lead into the half. But the third quarter was all Groove, as they outscored the hosts 35-13 in the period to take an 82-74 lead into the fourth quarter.
Lima regained the lead as the two teams battled down the stretch, but Windy City was able to pull back ahead late. Lima needed a three-pointer to tie the game at 101, but were only able to score a two as time expired.
