ST. LOUIS - A 34-point, 9-rebound effort by Alfonzo Houston of the Pontiac 66ers has earned him the latest Player of the Week award from the Midwest Professional Basketball Association.

Houston racked up the impressive numbers in a close win Sunday over the St. Louis RiverSharks 114-111.  The 6'4" guard from the University of North Carolina-Central has scored 30 or more points in four of his last five games, and is tied for second in the league in scoring average.
