ST. LOUIS - Austin Hill of the Gateway Steam has become the latest player from the Midwest Professional Basketball Association to earn an overseas promotion.

Hill will transfer to the Westfalen Mustangs in Germany later this week, according to Steam coach Milton Stith.

Hill played the bulk of this season with the Pontiac 66ers, before he was released and immediately signed by the Gateway Steam.  With Pontiac, Hill averaged 13.0 points over five games and shot 43% from three-point range.  In his lone game with the Steam, Hill scored ten points and grabbed four rebounds.

Hill becomes the 27th overall to advance from the MPBA since the league began play a little over a year ago, and the seventh since the start of the 2016 season three weeks ago.
