ST. LOUIS - Another Lima Express player is headed overseas.

The team announced today that forward Markus Montague will be leaving the team to play with Dakar Rapids in Senegal.

The 6'9" forward from Kentucky State University played in five of six games for the Express this season, scoring a season-high eight points against the Chicago Blues on January 17.

"Markus is an outstanding person, and we are very happy for his opportunity," said Mark Anderson, head coach of the Express. "From day one, he came to us ready to learn and improve. His work ethic earned him this shot."

Montague becomes the eleventh player the Express have sent overseas since their formation in 2014, and the 26th player to jump from the MPBA to a higher domestic or overseas league in the past year.
