CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – So often, teachers do thankless work. So the Champaign Swarm want to be sure to say thank you in return.

The Swarm’s Feb. 26 game against the Chicago Force at Parkland College will be Educator Appreciation Night. All Champaign County educators and administrators will receive complimentary admission, courtesy of Flooring Surfaces, Inc. Tipoff is at 6 p.m.

“The educators in our area give so much, so this is a small way we can give back,” Swarm assistant general manager Sara Seed said. “This is a great gesture on the part of Flooring Surfaces to partner with us in this. We hope teachers will enjoy a few hours to themselves and have some fun.”

Teachers and administrators simply need to present their ID at the door for complimentary admission.

Tickets to the game all others are $8 for general admission and $12 for VIP seats. Kids, students and seniors are $5.
