ST. LOUIS – The online gateway for the Midwest Professional Basketball Association has an exciting new look, with a new website that launched this week.

The site, www.theMPBA.com, replaces the temporary landing site on the same address that went live when the league was announced in August.

MPBA staff worked with Sport Ngin, the league’s technology provider, over the past few weeks on the site.

“Our Director of Information Technology, Steve Hollaway, and the project team at Sport Ngin headed up by Greta Seiffert, did an amazing job on the visuals and the layout,” said Craig Fata, Vice President and Director of Communications for the MPBA.  “It was a fantastic collaborative effort, and is indicative of the vision that’s shared by both Sport Ngin and the MPBA.”

The site features team sections on which fans can find detailed information on their favorite teams and players, as well as a comprehensive, integrated calendar.

“Some of the most exciting elements aren’t even visible on the site yet,” said Fata.  “When the season starts, the front page will feature a dynamic statistical leaders section, as well as the standings.  And we’ll be revealing more details soon, but fans will also be able to watch all of our regular-season and playoff games live from our website,” Fata said.

Some users that had been to the landing page might need to do a ‘hard refresh’ in order for the updated site to appear in their browser.  A hard refresh is accomplished by pressing Control and clicking the ‘reload’ button, or by pressing Control and F5.
