MPBA, Sport Ngin announce partnership

Every MPBA game to be streamed, archived online

ST. LOUIS – The Midwest Professional Basketball Association and Sport Ngin have reached an agreement for the sports technology company to provide the MPBA with a level of robust web design, online content, and powerful, integrated systems that will redefine the standard for what a minor league can achieve technologically for its fans, players and partners.

                    Based in Minneapolis, MN, Sport Ngin products and the proprietary NGIN platform are used by thousands of local sports organizations and national governing bodies alike to run their websites, tournaments, leagues, player registration and mobile applications.  NGIN clientele represent dozens of sports, including soccer, football, basketball, softball, hockey and wrestling and include USA Hockey, USA Wrestling, USA Fencing and Hockey Canada.

                    “Our staff has had a relationship with Sport Ngin for more than a year, and we couldn’t be more excited to be working long-term with people that have the same vision and philosophy we do,” said C. Edward “Ed” Schumer, Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the MPBA. 

                    In addition to providing the MPBA and its teams with a visually elegant and user-friendly websites, Sport Ngin’s platform allows fans, players, scouts and sponsors to have easy access to live video streaming and archiving of every league game, real-time online score tracking, comprehensive statistics, mobile apps, schedules, rosters, player profiles, and more.

                    A landing page has been established at http://theMPBA.com while the full site is being constructed.  The new, full site is expected to be live on that same address by the end of October.
