CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Champaign Swarm want to show some gratitude to their hosts.
The Swarm’s Jan. 29 game against the Bloomington Flex at Parkland College will be Parkland Appreciation Night. All current Parkland students, staff and faculty with a Parkland ID will receive free admission to the game as a thank you to Parkland College. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
“Parkland College has been a great partner to us, from the administration, to the athletic department, to the support staff,” Swarm general manager Jim Sheppard said. “They’ve been welcoming and have provided a great venue to watch pro basketball. We’re glad to offer this as a token of appreciation.”
In addition, the Parkland College Chamber Singers will perform the National Anthem.
Tickets to the game are $8 for general admission and $12 for VIP seats. Kids and non-Parkland students are $5.
